OECD
OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) is a multilateral organization that today brings together 30 democracies with market economies from around the globe. Headquartered in Paris, France, the OECD was established in 1961 as the successor to the Organization for European Economic Cooperation (OEEC), created to implement the Marshall Plan in the wake of World War II.
Among international organizations, the OECD is the strongest, most effective proponent of open, competitive, innovative market economies.
