ICN
A U.S. initiative launched in 2001, the International Competition Network (ICN) brings together a “virtual” network of antitrust officials from around the globe aiming at extending antitrust experience and best practices, enhancing the advocacy role of competition authorities and international cooperation.
There are working groups within the ICN for various issues such as competition policy implementation, unilateral conduct, mergers and cartels.
The ICN organizes every year workshops on various topics and an annual conference. This conference ensures a platform whereby outcomes of the work of working groups are introduced and discussed.
Romanian Competition Council has been an ICN member since the early years of foundation of the ICN.
